A Laser Photofacial utilizes photorejuvenation through advanced Intense Pulse Light (IPL) technology. Gentle pulses of advanced light treatment penetrate deep layers of the skin and disrupt excess melanin pigmentation, stimulate the growth of collagen and tighten and refresh underlying skin cells. Laser Photofacials target the following skin flaws:

The procedure brings sun damage spots and dark spots to the skin's surface. Once the spots reach the surface, they act like a scab and flake off. Visible blood vessels and flush marks reduce and diminish within two weeks following the treatment.

A series of 2 to 4 treatments are most effective for sun-damaged skin.

What Can I Expect?

The treatment involves the use of IPL, expect to wear eye protection during the procedure to prevent the absorption of light waves by the corneas and retinas. Sun-tanned skin is not ideal for this treatment, please note this prior to scheduling.
